Wheels day

"Are we there yet," I groaned. People were whizzing past me. My heart was pounding, gasping for breath, our destination seemed like it was about 90,000 feet away. I started shifting to the back, my feet were going crazy. I pedaled as fast as I could but it seemed like I was going nowhere. Somehow I ended up at the back of the line. I was devastated.

When we reached the place I was so relieved. We all gathered around  the Pou looking curious and interested. We all went silent as Koka Terri announced why the Pou were put their. I learnt heaps of fascinating information that I didn't know before.

But on the way back I realised that my bike was broken. I tried to fix it but it was no use so I just had to put up with it the whole way back to school. I have a wonderful but tiering time.

  1. Hi Ruby,
You did an amazing blog post I really enjoyed your story. I like that your blog post had a lot of punctuation. Maybe next time Start with a different sentence starter not just "I". It would be cool if you used some interesting words to start your sentences.Do you prefer to bike or skateboard?

  2. Hey Ruby, I loved your blog post about your trip to the pou. I liked how you included speech for extra effect. Next time you could have included some more info about the history of the land and why the pou’s there. From Nellie.
